3. Prepare the Strike Side Wall Jamb
IMPORTANT!
Do not install the strike side wall jamb until instructed. The strike side wall jamb is on the
same side as the door handle holes.
Position the
strike side
wall jamb on the wall 3/4
″
(19 mm) from the front ledge of the shower
base.
Plumb the wall jamb using a level.
Temporarily secure the wall jamb with masking tape.
Mark the location of the four wall jamb slots on the wall.
Remove the masking tape, then move the wall jamb to a safe area.
IMPORTANT!
The supplied 6 mm drill bit is not suitable for drilling through tile. For tile installations,
use a 6 mm tile bit.
Slowly drill the marked hole location, using the provided 6 mm drill bit for non-tiled walls.
Insert an anchor into each hole. Make sure the anchors are flush with the finished wall.
