2. Reinforce the Stud Pocket
IMPORTANT!
Before securing the studs to the framing, confirm that the studs are not warped.
Measure the height of the framing, and cut the studs to that measurement.
Install the studs to the outside of the framing with appropriate fasteners (not provided).
Verify the front surface of the studs are flush. Plane the studs, if necessary.
Attach studs to outside
of determined location
with fasteners.
