ContinuousClean Technology Quick Start Guide
ContinuousClean technology automatically dispenses cleaning solution to keep the bowl clean longer.
Place the lid back on the toilet.
Then check that the indicator light
is working when you flush.
You should see a blue pulse
(one second
in duration)
, which indicates the system
is working properly and cleaning solution
is being delivered with each flush.

The toilet will now begin dispensing
cleaning solution with every flush.

First remove the lid of the toilet.

Unlatch and remove the cover
of the reservoir system.

Set the dial to your preferred setting.

This is the recommended setting
that evenly dispenses the cleaning
agent with every flush.
If you want more cleaning agent
added to your flush, choose this
setting. This setting may result in a stronger scent from the
cleaning agent when flushing.
If you want less cleaning agent added to your flush, choose
this setting. Rest assured, you will still be fighting germs with
every flush; however, with a lower setting of cleaning solution
you may need to clean the bowl sooner than you would using
the recommended setting.
Liquid or powder cleaners won’t work in this system. Please
follow the handling instructions provided on your preferred tablet
packaging, and DO NOT handle the tablets directly.
Note: During toilet installation, Kohler recommends inserting toilet cleaning
tablets prior to turning on the water to the toilet.
Insert two puck-style cleaning tablets.
Be careful not to touch the tablets.

First remove the lid of the toilet.
Then get started by installing two AAA batteries (included).
( Batteries are not required for the ContinuousClean
system to work, only for the indicator light.)
The batteries power the blue ContinuousClean
indicator light that lets you know the system is working, and it will
alert you (with a red light) when the cleaning agent is running low.

ContinuousClean XT
This two-tablet system has three settings, and is designed to
automatically dispense cleaning solution for up to one year
with standard use.
ContinuousClean ST
This single-tablet system is mechanically operated, no
batteries required. Simply add a single cleaning tablet to
automatically dispense cleaning solution for up to six months.
