5.7.4

Oil Pressure Sensor Boot

The oil pressure sensor boot protects the oil pressure
sensor and its connection from moisture and frost
buildup that can cause false low oil level faults. Install
the oil pressure sensor boot in locations where the
ambient temperature drops below 0 C (32 F). See
Figure 5-20 for illustrations of the installed kit. Follow
the instructions provided with the kit to install the boot.
