6.8 Interface sentences
The IEC 61162 sentences accepted by and output by the AIS transceiver
serial data ports are listed in Table 9.
* External Display 2 / Long-range / DGNSS interfaces use the same port. Please select the
required interface in the Interface menu.

The default SSA key is ABCDZX. Please contact your dealer if you wish to
change it.
6.8.1 Legacy sentences
AIS alerts are now provided using the Bridge Alert Management requirements.
However, in order to main compatibility with legacy systems, the ALR
sentence continues to be supported. The details of the supported alerts are
shown in Table 10.
