better results can be obtained by shooting with the lens set to a wide angle, by increasing
the lighting indoor settings, or by approaching closer to the subject.
Setting the Slow Sync.
You can shoot images using the flash with a slow shutter speed. This helps avoid an
excessively dark background when shooting night scenes or with indoor lighting conditions.
When shooting with
SLOW SYNC
., we recommend the use of a tripod to prevent camera
shake.
Use the macro mode to shoot close-up of subjects in the range of 10 cm at the wide angle
end and 16 cm at the telephoto end.

Press the DISPLAY button to turn the
LCD monitor on.

button.

icon appears on the LCD monitor.

Shoot the image.
