IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Plug and Cord Safety
•
Always turn the timer knob to the Off position before removing the power cord from the
wall outlet .
•
Do NOT alter the power cord in any way . The power cord has a polarized plug (one prong
is wider than the other), which fits into a polarized outlet only one way . If the plug does
not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug . If it still does not fit, do NOT use the plug in that
outlet .
•
Do NOT use an extension cord if the marked electrical rating of the cord is less than that
of the appliance .
•
Do NOT let the power cord (or any extension cord) hang over the edge of a table or
counter, or allow it to touch hot surfaces .
•
Never connect the air fryer to an external timer switch or separate remote-control system .
This could create a risk of a hazardous situation .
•
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord .
•
Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use .
•
If an extension cord is used:
•
The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as
electrical rating of the appliance .
•
The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter or
table top where it could be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally .
•
If the appliance is of the grounded type, the cord set or extension cord should be a
grounding-type 3-wire cord .
