DRILLING
Check the position of the
pilot drill above the mark
and then switch the Drill on
by pressing the Green
Button (b). If required, turn
on the tap to supply coolant.
Wind the drill down using
the handle in the direction
of arrow (c) and apply gentle
pressure to start the drilling
process.
IMPORTANT
:
Let the drill do the work, do
not use excessive force as
this may damage the Drill
and or the bit.
When you have drilled the
hole, back out, rotating the
handle in the direction of
arrow (e) and switch off the
drill by pressing the Red
button (d). Replace the pilot
drill with the correct size bit
for the hole you require and
then drill the hole slowly so
as not to create excessive
heat and blunt the bit. For
larger holes, you may need
to drill with an intermediate
sized bit before the correct
sized one in order to stop
the bit binding in the hole
whilst the hole is drilled.
DRILL POSITIONING
Mark the position of holes to be drilled with a centre punch prior to putting the Drill
into position. Insert a small pilot drill into the drill and lower until it’s point is in line
with the bottom of the base. Place the drill into position above the mark left by the
centre punch then switch on the magnet with rocker switch (a) to hold in position.

MAINTENANCE
The drill requires very little maintenance apart from keeping all unpainted surfaces coated in light oil.
Keep the machine clear of swarf which should be disposed of in a proper manner and not put into
domestic refuse bins.
Always inspect and check the set up and adjustments before using the machine.
