Inserting the Module
Note: Be sure to connect the shielding properly!
Switch off power supply
Open the device (loosen the 4 screws at the front)
Place module in slot (D-SUB connector)
Tighten fastening screws of the module
Open ESD shielding cap (covering terminals 2 and 8)
Connect sensor cable.
To avoid interferences, the cable shielding must be
completely covered by the ESD shielding cap.
Close ESD shielding cap (covering terminals 2 and 8)
Close device, tighten screws at the front
Switch on power supply
Set parameters
Make sure that the cable
glands are tightly closed to
protect against humidity.
The terminals 2 and 8
are covered by an ESD shield.
To connect the sensor cable, just
pull it back.
