8.1. Servicing Schedule

8.2. Cleaning
When cleaning, make sure that no liquids enter the inside of
the housing.
8.2.1. Flushing Pump
When transferring aggressive media, flush the pump under atmos-
pheric conditions some minutes with air (or, if necessary for safety
reasons, with an inert gas) prior to switch-off to increase the ser-
vice life of the diaphragm.
8.2.2. Cleaning Pump
Only use solvents for cleaning if the head materials cannot be
attacked (check the resistance of the material!).
If compressed air is available, blow out the components.
