7.11 P2(High temperature protection of IPM module diagnosis and solution)
Description:
If the temperature of IPM module is higher than a certain value, the LED will display the failure.
Recommended parts to prepare:
• Outdoor PCB
• IPM module board
Troubleshooting and repair:
Check the fastening screws on the
PCB and IPM radiator.
Are they
fixed tightly?
Replace the outdoor
control PCB.
Tighten the screws and apply
silicon grease.

Note: For certain models, outdoor PCB could not be removed separately. In this case, the outdoor electric
control box should be replaced as a whole.
