MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Replacing the batteries of the remote control
1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert a 3V
CR2032 battery.
2. Point the remote control at the receiver of the device.
3. Remove the batteries from the remote control when not in use. Observe the
correct polarity when inserting the batteries. Once you close the battery
compartment after inserting the battery, the remote control will be ready for use.
Cleaning
If too much dust accumulates on the front ventilation cover and on the fan wheel, the
functionality of the air outlet will be impaired. It is recommended to clean the fan at
least once a month.
1. Turn off the power and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before
cleaning, as this could result in electric shock or damage to the unit.
2. Clean the device with a standard detergent and a brush. Do not use chemical
substances.
Surface cleaning
1. Make sure that no water or steam get on the unit.
2. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
3. Always unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before cleaning.
Storage
1. Disconnect the power plug from the wall outlet and store in a cardboard box to
prevent dust from entering the inside of the unit.
2. After packing, store the device in a dry, well-ventilated place.
