Important notes on door rotation
Make sure the door opens and closes smoothly after you perform the door
reversal operation. The gasket must adhere properly around the entire door. If the
gasket does not adhere properly to the housing, you can do the following:
•
Use a warm, damp cloth and work the gasket until it is properly adhered to
the housing, all around the door.
•
Alternatively, use a hair dryer on the lowest setting and lightly heat the areas
of the door gasket that do not fit properly. The heat will make the gasket more
pliable and you will be able to move it into the proper position.
Note
: Heat the door gasket only on the lowest heat setting and do not heat
the gasket for an extended period of time. Otherwise, the door seal may be
damaged. If you have turned the door of the unit upside down and placed the
unit on its back for this purpose, you must wait 8 hours before switching the
unit on again.
