• The counter top is flat and horizontal and nothing extends into the work-
space.
• The base (counter top) consists of a heat-resistant material.
• If installed above an oven, the oven must have its own fan.
• The installation must comply with all standard operation procedures and
and other regulations.
• A separate and suitable fuse must protect the circuit and comply with
local regulations.
• This fuse must be tested and have at least 3 mm of ambiance around all
poles (or all active [phase] conductors if provided for in the regulations).
• The fuse must be easily accessible to the installer.
• Contact a specialist or the building control authority if you are not sure
about the installation.
• Use heat resistant and easy to clean surfaces (e.g., ceramic tiles) as wall
surfaces around the cooking area.

Cautions
• The ceramic glass hob must be installed by qualified personnel or tech-
nicians. We have professionals at your service. Please never conduct the
operation by yourself.
• The ceramic glass hob shall not be mounted to cooling equipment, dish-
washers and rotary dryers.
• The ceramic glass hob shall be installed such that better heat radiation
can be ensured to enhance its reliability.
• The wall and heating zone above the counter top should be heat resis-
tant. Use heat resistant adhesive.
• A steam cleaner is not to be used.
