Using your hob
6.3 The double/triple zone function
•
The function only works on zone No.
2
and
3
.
• The dual/triple cooking zones have two or three heating zones,
so you can use a central and an enlarged area.
You can use only the central heating zone
(A)
or two
(B)
or
three heating zones
(C)
at once.
Activate the double/ triple zone function
• Select a desired dual/triple cooking zone and set the heating level.
The central area
(A)
switches on as usual.
•
Now press the corresponding cooking zone selection button again.
While the heating level indicator is flashing,
press the dual/triple cooking zone control
once to additionally activate the second heating zone
(B)
or
twice for the third heating zone (
C
, only available for cooking zone
2
).
A red dot next to the
- icon indicates that the double/triple
zone function is activated.
• To switch between the cooking zones in the sequence
B > A > B ...
or
C > A > B > C ...
, press the corresponding cooking zone selection
control and then the dual/triple zone button once or several times.

Deactivate the double/triple zone function
• During the cooking process, touch the corresponding cooking zone
selection button and then the dual/triple zone button
or switch off the zone by sliding it down.
•
When the hob is switched off, the function is also deactivated and must
be reset if necessary.
