Accessible parts of the appliance can become hot
when cooking appliances are in operation in the vicinity.
Before the exhaust air operation, make sure no open fire is
burning in the fireplace. Smoke and toxic combustion gases
could be drawn from the chimney or flue, into living rooms.
This can be life threatening!

Keep children away from the appliance. The operation of the device by
children is permitted only under adult supervision.
• The appliance is designed for household operation and is to be used
exclusively for that.
• Read this manual thoroughly before installing and using the unit.

The installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
•
Check whether the technical data (V and Hz) on the rating plate of the
device correspond to those of your house wiring. If these do not match,
return the unit to the point of sale. If you are unclear, please contact your
power supplier.

If an exhaust air hose is connected, it must be made of heat and fire resis

tant material and must be laid outside in a separate exhaust air shaft. It
must not be laid through any other shafts or chimneys.

The appliance and the filter(s) must be cleaned regularly to ensure pro
-
per operation. Please refer to the section „Care and cleaning“.
Filters soiled with grease or oil pose a great fire hazard.
•
The outside of the appliance may only be cleaned when it is switched off.
•
For internal cleaning of the appliance, it must be disconnected from the
mains supply.
•
In case of malfunction of the device, the customer service is notified.
Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself under any circumstances.
•
Keep the room well ventilated when operating the appliance in cimbina

tion with a gas stove.
