Charging the battery

The Sound Stand has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery.

Make sure the Sound Stand is switched off. Connect one end of the USB power cable to the charging
port of the Sound Stand and connect the other end to your PC or USB mains adaptor. The battery will
start charging.

• It takes approx. 2 hours to fully charge the battery
• Whilst charging, the LED will show red
• When fully charged, the LED will turn blue
• A fully charged unit has up to 4 hours of playback time

leD indicator

There is an LED light on the front of the Sound Stand. Please see below explanations for what each LED
indication means.
– LED off:

Power OFF

– Solid blue:

Power ON / fully charged

Using the speaker

•   If you’re using a tablet, place it in the dock and then tighten the screws on the back of the Sound Stand

until the tablet is secure

•  Fold out the legs on the back of the speaker
•   Using the provided aux cable, connect one end to the Sound Stand and the other end to the headphone

socket on your device

•   Switch the speaker to ‘ON’ or ‘SRS’ mode. SRS mode will provide a wider sound than normal. As everyone’s

hearing is different, please try both modes to find which best suits your ears

•   Press ‘Play’ on your device and turn up the volume to a comfortable level

Other Information

Your device will have an internal amplifier and if it is playing digital files like MP3s it will also have an
integrated DAC (Digital Audio Converter). If you turn the volume up to 100%, your device will be sending
a distorted signal. To avoid this, and to get the best quality from the speaker, we recommend that you do
not run your device any higher than 95% volume. Some devices output higher than others, so you may
need to reduce the volume if you experience distortion.
