Ensure your stereo is in Bluetooth or aux mode (depending on connection) for smart audio
•
Long press MFB (1) to mute Alexa. The LED Indicator (2) will be solid red. At this time, you
will not be able to command the Freeplay with your voice. To wake Alexa short press
MFB (1) and say your command

Once commanded the LED Indicator (2) with be a solid blue.
•
The LED Indicator (2) will flash blue when thinking and responding to your command
•
The LED Indicator (2) will flash yellow when receiving a notification. This is normally when
the app requires an update
Note:
The KS Freeplay can use Alexa to make hands-free calls. However, incoming calls
should still be accepted/rejected via the vehicle’s Bluetooth stereo system.
