Driver Installation
The following steps guide you through installation of the WIDCOMM Bluetooth driver in
Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Note 1:
Windows 8
should download and install the drivers automatically when the USB
adapter is plugged in for the first time. Please follow the below steps if automatic driver
installation does not work.
Note 2:
You may either follow the CD Procedure or the Alternate procedure (internet
access required).
CD-Based Procedure
The BTD-400 package should include a software CD corresponding to your Windows
version. Insert the software CD into CD/DVD driver of your PC. An auto-installation
program will start to guide you through the process.
Note:
Please browse to the CD drive under “My Computer” in case the program does not
start automatically.
The installation program will remind you to plug in the Bluetooth USB adapter if you
did not insert it already.
