ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MD–55/80

STEP-I
Unpack, inspect and lay the parts on a clean, flat, soft surface to avoid marring the wood.
NOTE:
During assembly of the furniture please match joints with the corresponding letters or
numbers stamped on the wood. Also, these photograph present the MD55, the MD80 has 2
CENTER STRETCHERS but still assembles the same.
STEP-II
Gently lay the BACK LEG STRETCHER with th e stamps on a clean, flat surface, fit the
CENTER STRETCHER(s) into the BACK LEG STRETCHER and fit the FRONT LEG
STRETCHER to the CENTER STRETCHER(s) as shown in the above photographs. Carefully
hammer the proper dowels into the pre-drilled holes of the assembly, details are shown in the
above photographs. Fit the STRETCHER assem bly tenons into the END FRAME m ortise
holes using the stam ps as guides. Fit the BACK into the END FRAME mortise holes. If
necessary, gently rock the component parts while pushing down on them until all the joints fit
snugly together.
