STEP-V
From inside the box, insert the brass bolts
fitted with one washer each. Slide the
additional 4 washers over the exposed threads
on the outside of the box and using a proper
screw driver, secure the handl e into place. Use of any power screw driver could cause
damage to the hardware or wood.
STEP-VI
Mount the lid with the 6m m brass knock down bolts,
insert and slightly tighten all bolts by hand before
tightening with flat tipped screw driver. NOTE: THIS
WILL BE EASIER TO DO WITH 2 PEOPLE. YOU
DO NOT WANT TO LET THE WEIGHT OF THE LID
FALL BACKWARDS DURING ASSEMBLY.
STEP-VIII
The hydraulic stays are already fitted to the lid; fasten the wooden blocks
attached to the stay to inside of the box with the 6m m brass knock down
bolts.
