Trimming line
Replace the trimming spool
Replace the line spool when it is empty or worn.
1. Turn the product upside down to access the trimming head (10).
2. Hold the trimmer head (10) steady with one hand, then loosen the housing
(10a) anticlockwise by the other hand and remove it (Fig. 14, step 1).
3. Remove the trimming spool (10d) and the spring (10f) from the trimmer head
(10) (Fig. 14, step 2).

4. Clean the housing (10a) before
inserting a new spool (10d) of the
same type.
5. Pull one trimming line (10e) from
the new spool for a length of
approx. 13 cm.
6. Release the trimming line (10e)
from the notches and hold it in
position. Avoid the trimmer line
(10e) scatted from the trimming
spool (10d) (Fig. 15, Step 1).
7. Lead the trimming line ending
through the eyelet (10b) on the
housing (10a) (Fig. 15, Step 2).

8. Repeat the above steps (from 5 to 7) to lead the other trimming line ending
through the other eyelet (10b).
9. Insert the trimming spool (10d) into the housing (10a) (Fig. 15, Step 3).
10. Press down the trimming spool (10d) together with the housing (10a) against
the spring (10f) and twist the assembly until it locks into place by hand (Fig.
15, step 4).
