CABIN ENTRY AND EXITS
The cabin entr y airstair door is on the left
s i d e o f t h e f u s e l a g e , j u s t a f t o f t h e w i n g
(Figure 1-7). A swing-down door, hinged at
the bottom, provides a convenient stairway
for entr y and exit.
Two of the four steps are movable and au-
tomatically fold flat against the door in the
closed position. A self-storing platform au-
tomatically folds down over the door sill
when the door opens to provide a stepping
platfor m for door seal protection.
