When unpacking, check that the
following components are present
IN THE BOX
ASSEMBLY
Thread tensioning knob into crossbar and tighten several turns.
Place washer on tensioning knob and insert through resistance unit.
Add curved washer and spring on the inside of the resistance unit.
Attach resistance unit to frame with mounting bolt as shown.

1. Assemble trainer, install battery and mount bike
2. Download Kinetic Fit app at: www.kinetic.fit
3. Create user account and profile
4. Spin wheel on trainer to wake up trainer sensor
5. Select SENSORS in kinetic fit app and pair trainer.
Activate 1-month free trial when pop up appears.
6. Update firmware if indicated
7. Select a workout and start training
Training in other apps
1. Complete steps 1 - 6 at left to see if firmware
updates are indicated via Kinetic Fit app.
2. Download preferred 3rd-party partner app or
another compatible app.
3. Activate trial subscription
4. Pair trainer with app and follow directions to ride

Kinetic Smart 2 fluid trainers connect to training apps and send speed, cadence, power data and more. Check
on each app web site to learn how to connect your trainer. Our partner apps all offer iOS and Android versions
to connect directly with Kinetic Smart 2 trainers via Bluetooth Smart. Kinetic Smart 2 trainers can also send
data directly to Garmin™ devices via ANT+.
