5.1 Installation of additional media technology
Attention:
The installation of media technology components must be carried out by trained and instructed personnel!
Basically, electrical components are permanently installed in the console or in the base cabinet; connect the devices to power
(power strip in the console) or connect them to other devices with appropriate control and signal lines.
The console is usually set up and instructed by the manufacturer or by a specialist dealer.
1. Move the Lectern to the top position.
2. Then disconnect the power plug.
3. For optimum access, open the two inspection accesses on the right and left in the central part of the body
(see Figures 1 - 4 below).
4. Install all desired components such as displays, media controls, amplifiers, etc. (Lay all cables professionally in the process!)
The total power must not exceed 2500W!
5. Use the integrated cable column to install all cables optimally and safely.
6. If you have ordered the optional 19 inch rack, please route the cables accordingly using the mechanical cable guide.
7. Then check all cables for correct fit. No cable and no component may be damaged by stroke!
8. After completing the installation, close the lateral inspection accesses again.
9. Reconnect the console to the power supply.
10. Lower the lectern completely. Check the interior for possible damage to the installed components and cables during
the lowering process. Repair them if necessary.
11. After successful installation, close the lower access door.
12. The lectern is now ready for operation.
