3. CALIBRATION
(refer to online video)
1. You need a 5 kg test weight to perform this calibration.
2. Make sure the scale is OFF.
3. Press and hold down the ZERO key and then simultaneously press ON/OFF button until CAL appears.
4. A/D values will be displayed.
5. Wait for the stable indicator to be displayed on the left side of the screen.
6. Press UNIT. The display will show a flashing 5.0000.
7. Place the 5 kg calibration weight on the scale’s platter.
8. Wait for the stable indicator to be displayed on the left side of the display screen.
9. Press the UNIT key.
10. The display will show several dashes (- - - - -) and then the A/D value.
11. Remove the weight.
12. Turn the scale off by pressing the ON/OFF key. The calibration is now complete.
13. To test for accuracy, turn scale on and the countdown will commence.
14. Place the scale in kg mode.
15. Place a 5 kg weight on the platter and verify accuracy.
16. Troubleshooting (if calibration is ineffective):
a. Try a more stable surface
b. Move to an interference free location
c. Replace batteries
17. If you are encountering problems calibrating your scale, please contact your dealer for further assistance.
4. FUNCTION SETTING
1. Turn the scale off.
2. Hold PCS key and press ON/OFF key.
3. Scale display will show A_ON or A_OFF.
Auto shut off mode
• A_ON means that auto shut off mode is on and A_OFF means that auto shut off mode is off.
• Press ZERO key to toggle between A_ON and A_OFF.
Auto backlight mode
• When in Function setting, press the PCS key in order to access AUTO BACKLIGHT MODE.
• Display will show L_ON or L_OFF.
• Press ZERO key to toggle between L_ON and L_OFF.
Return to weighing mode
Press ON/OFF key to turn the scale off and then press ON/OFF key again to turn the scale on. The scale will
maintain the changes made while in function settings mode.
