Connection to the Load Input Terminal on the Front
Panel
• The speci
fi
cations of the PLZ-U are for the load input terminal on the rear panel.
The load input terminal on the front panel may not satisfy the speci
fi
cations.
• The maximum input current of the load input terminal on the front panel of each
unit is 30 A.
• Do not touch the load input terminal while the PLZ-U is turned ON, as it may
lead to electric shock. In addition, be sure to use the binding post cover.
• The load input terminals on the front and rear panels are coupled inside
the PLZ-U. A voltage applied to one end will appear at the other end.
• Do not connect equipment to the load input terminals on the front and rear
panels simultaneously, as it can cause damage.
• There is a danger of overheating. Attach a crimping terminal to the wire
and secure it using the knob.

Turn off the POWER switch.
2.
Check that the output of the equipment under test is off.
3.
Connect the load wire to the load input terminal on the front panel.
For the connection procedure of the load wire, see Fig. 2-14.
4.
Check the polarity of the connection and connect the load wire to the
output terminal of the equipment under test.
