Trigger system
When triggers are used to make measurements, the product operation varies depending on the continu-
ous measurement function (:INITiate:CONTinuous) and trigger source (:TRIGger:SOURce).

Sending :INITiate or :READ? in the idle
state

the measured value, the product returns
to the idle state.

Sending *TRG or a TRIG-IN signal to the
SIGNAL I/O connector or pressing SNGL
TRG on the front panel applies a trigger.
After the measurement is completed, the
product changes to the trigger wait state.

Sending :INITiate or :READ? in the idle
state
causes the product to change to
the trigger wait state. Sending *TRG

or
a TRIG-IN signal to the SIGNAL I/O con-
nector applies a trigger. After outputting
the measured value, the product returns
to the idle state.
