. This product meets the most stringent safety
requirements according to the European standard EN-716-1:2008+A1:2013. Using this
cot 120
can only be safe when used according to the instructions given in these instructions. Please read
this instruction manual carefully and store it for future reference. The safety of your child may be
affected if these instructions are not followed.
WARNINGS
•
Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires,
gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot.
•
Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and use only spare parts approved
by the manufacturer.
•
Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product, which could
provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings,
blind/curtain cords, etc.
•
Do not use more than one mattress in the cot.
SAFETY MEASURES
•
The lowest position of the base is the safest. The base should always be used in that
position as soon as the baby is old enough to sit up.
•
It is essential to remove detachable support rails before the cot is used in its lowest position.
•
The thickness of the mattress shall be such that the internal height (surface of the mattress
to the upper edge of the cot frame) is at least 500 mm in the lowest position of the cot base
and at least 200 mm in the highest position of the cot base.
•
The maximum thickness of the mattress, with the base in the highest position, is indicated
with a mark on the cot.
•
This cot is designed for a mattress size of 60x120 cm. We advise to use a mattress of the
same size. In other cases should the length and width of the mattress be such that the gap
between the mattress and the sides and ends does not exceed 30 mm.
•
All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and the fittings should be
checked regularly and retightened as necessary.
•
To prevent injury from falls, the cot shall no longer be used for the child when the child is
able to climb out of the cot.
