There are two ways to have musical fun with your Sing-Along MP3 Princess Microphone. 
You can sing along to the built-in song, or to any song on  your MP3 player or other audio 
device by connecting it via the MP3 cable (see instructions below). Have a great show!

Song Mode

 

•   Slide the 

Mode Switch

 located on the side of the microphone to Song position

  to enable song mode. 
•   Press the 

Jewel Button

. The microphone will automatically start playing the built-in 

  song and lights will pulse to the beat. 

 Press 

the 

Jewel Button

 again to interrupt the song.

•   Slide the 

Mode Switch

 to Off to turn the microphone off.

MP3 Mode

•   Slide the 

Mode Switch

 to MP3  position

 <s 

to enable MP3 mode. 

•   Slide the MP3 compartment cover and remove cover.
•   Connect included MP3 Audio Cable to the headphone or line out jack 
  on your MP3 player or other audio device. 
•   Fit the MP3 Audio Cable into the cable slot on the bottom of the

  microphone and slide the MP3 compartment door closed.

•   Turn on and play your MP3 player/audio device
•   Press the 

Jewel Button

 to hear the music on your MP3 player/audio device. Adjust the volume on your audio device. Press the  

 

Jewel Button

 again to stop listening.

•   Slide the 

Mode Switch

 to OFF to turn off the mic when you are done. Remember to turn off your MP3 player or other audio   

    device, too.

There is a 5 minute timer that will automatically turn off MP3 playback. Press the 

Jewel Button

 again to resume MP3 playback.

ATTENTION:

 

Batteries should only be installed by an adult.

The unit comes with batteries already installed. These batteries 
are meant for in-store demonstration use only, and should be 
replaced with fresh batteries. To replace the batteries at home:

���

 Use a Philips screwdriver to open the battery compartment 

door.

���

 Install 2 "AAA" R03 (UM-4) size batteries into the compartment, 

making sure that the + and - polarities match the diagram 
printed inside.

���

 

Close the battery 

compartment door and 
tighten the battery door 
screw. Don’t over tighten.

For the Best Possible 
Performance

•   We recommend the use of 

alkaline batteries for longer 
life.

•   Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not 

to be mixed.

•   Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity.
•   Remove exhausted batteries from the unit.
•   Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
•   Remove rechargeable batteries from the unit before charging.
•   The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
•   Batteries should be removed if the item is not going  

to 

be needed for an extended period of time (approximately 
30 days or more) to prevent leakage or damage to the unit.

•  Rechargeable batteries are only to be recharged under adult 

supervision.

KIDdesigns warrants this product to be free from defects in 
workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, 
for a period of one year from the date of original purchase.
Should service be required by reason of any defect or malfunction, 
it is best to first return this product and all parts thereof to the 
store where it was originally purchased. If you need to send the 
product for service during the warranty period, KIDdesigns will 
repair or, at its discretion, replace this product without charge 
(except for a $6.00 charge for handling, packing, return 
UPS/postage and insurance). This decision is subject to verification 
of the defect or malfunction upon delivery of this product to the 
Factory Service Center listed below. The product must include 
proof of purchase, including date of purchase.
Before returning this product for service, please first replace the 
batteries (if applicable) with fresh ones, as exhausted or defective 
batteries are the most common cause of problems encountered.
If service is still required:
1.  Remove batteries (if applicable) and pack unit in a well-padded, 

heavy corrugated box.

2. Enclose a photocopy of your sales receipt, credit card 

statement, or other proof of the date of purchase.

3. Enclose a check or money order payable to the order of 

KIDdesigns, for the sum of $6.00.

4. Send the unit prepaid to the Factory Service Center listed 

below.

NOTE: This warranty is valid only if the product is used for the 
purpose for which it was designed. It does not cover (i) products 
which have been damaged by negligence, misuse or accident, 
or which have been modified or repaired by unauthorized persons; 
(ii) cracked or broken cabinets, or units damaged by excessive 
heat; (iii) damage to CD’s or tape cassettes (if applicable); (iv) the 
cost of shipping this product to the factory service center and its 
return to the owner.
This warranty is valid only in the United States of America and 
does not extend to owners of the product subsequent to the 
original purchaser. Any applicable implied warranties are also 
limited to one year, and KIDdesigns will not be liable for 
consequential damages. (Some states do not allow limitations on 
implied warranties or exclusion of consequential damages, so 
these restrictions may not apply to you.) This warranty gives you 
specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which 
vary from state to state.

One Year Limited Warranty

It is important to keep the unit as dry and clean as possible. 
Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild 
soap and water. Stronger cleaning agents, such as thinner 
or similar materials are not recommended, as they may 
damage the surface of the case.

Do not allow dirt, sand, small particles, water or other 
liquids to enter the toy's casing.

If the unit is to be left unused for an extended time period, 
such as a month or longer, have an adult remove the 
battery to extend its life and to prevent leaking or corrosion.
