Using a Philips head screwdriver (not included) remove the battery
cover on the back of the
handle bar
.

Insert two AA batteries as shown inside the battery compartment.

Place the battery cover back onto the
handle bar
, tighten the screw
until it is tight.

Insert Batteries for Sound
The following safety hazards may result in personal injury to the
user of the Pedal Quad:
Contact or exposure to battery leakage (lead
acid) may cause personal injury. If contact
or exposure occurs immediately call your
physician. If the chemical is on the skin or in the
eyes, flush with cool water for 15 minutes. If the
chemical was swallowed, immediately give the
person water or milk. Do not give water or milk if
the patient is vomiting or has a decreased level
of alertness. Do not induce vomiting.
Follow these guidelines for use of AA batteries:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different
type (e.g.: alkaline, standard carbon zinc, rechargable nickel-
cadmium.
• Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a
fire. Doing so may result in explosion or fire.
• Do not charge non-rechargable batteries. Always have adult
supervision when charging rechargable batteries.
