Press the switch to the ' O ' to t urn the battery OFF .
Insert the key into the battery key way. Turn counterclockwise to unlock the battery.
With one hand holding the end of the rear rack and the other hand hold ing the end of the
battery, pull the battery backwards away from the bicycle to remove the battery.
BATTERY REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
For safety reasons and to meet regulation of international freight shipping, the lithium-ion battery
was
only partially charged, before being placed in sleep mode .
Please fully charge the battery BEFORE the very first use. See page 4.
