Rack Mount the Chassis

Attach the support rails to the rack’s inside vertical columns. Use four clip-on
sheet metal nuts (also called channel nuts) and the four 10-32 x 0.5 support
rail-to-rack pan head screws as shown in Figure 6.

Refer to Figure 7 as a template for placing the clip-on sheet metal nuts. Mark
the position the flange mounting holes on the rack’s vertical columns where
the chassis is to be mounted. Slide clip-on sheet metal nuts over the rack
holes to be used by the rack mount flanges.
