Launching Modular SA Application
Application Launcher

Update

FPGA

This key will be shown when the Advanced Settings is unhidden. It is used to update the

FPGA of all the modules that are inserted in the chassis if the FPGA version on the

module is different from the version required by Modular SA.
If there is Modular SA running on the controller, this button will be disabled and grayed

out. You need close all Modular SA instances and then use this button to update the

FPGA.

Module

Licenses

A panel for installing the module hardware license will be shown by pressing this button.

The left pane shows a list of installed modules. The installed module hardware licenses

will be shown in the right pane after you selecting one module in the left pane.
App Host ID is for redeeming software licenses on a controller, Module Host ID is for

redeeming hardware licenses for a module with a controller. You will be asked to provide

these information when you are redeeming licenses.
Use "Copy" button to copy the selected module host information text for the selected

module. The copied host information can be pasted to where the host information is

needed such as getting a hardware license for the module.
If there is any new hardware license available, the new hardware license will be shown in

the "New HW licenses" column and the "Install All New HW License" button will be

available to install all new hardware licenses onto modules. Please refer to

"Hardware

License Installation" on page 43

 for details.
