U3050BH11 Operational Check
S1 1 Test
Th is test will verify the RF path highlighted in Figure 1 5 . The Port 1 source power travels
through an amplifier, through a coupler thru path , is reflected off a Short/Open termination,
and is then coupled to RCVR A IN.
1. Connect a Short/Open to U3050BH11 bulkhead Port 1 .
2. Set source power to -15 dBm .
3. Turn on trace S1 1 .
4. Verify that the S1 1 trace has approximately 25 dB of gain at the low end and 10 dB of
gain at the high end as seen in Figure 1 4 . (Note: The power at the receiver includes
the insertion loss of cabling) .
