Control Lines
The 15 pin female D-Sub connector on the rear panel provides 8 latched data lines
that can be used to control your device under test (DUT). The lines can be controlled
with the Multiport External Test Set control, or Test Set I/O commands. Refer to
“External Test Set Control Feature” on page 46 and “Setting the Control Lines with
Address and Data Values” on page 6 8 . See Table 16 for DUT control line specification.
The output voltage of the lines can be from the internal adjustable voltage source
(+2 to +5 Vdc), or an external DC power supply depending on how the connection to
the control line is configured. When using an external power supply a positive or
negative voltage can be used. Refer to
Figure 5 6 on page 66 and Table 17 on page 65
for control line pin location and description. Refer to “Internal Voltage Supply
Configuration” on page 66 and “External Voltage Supply Configuration” on page 67
for configurations.
