 provides the values for 

the Cal Factor setting if an additional taper is added. The 

optional 

waveguide 

tapers have a flat frequency response, so only one Cal Factor value is set on the 
PM5B front panel for the waveguide band. The loss of the WR10 sensor and taper 
values are to be added together for the Cal Factor setting and rounded to the 
nearest 0.1 dB value.

The WR10 75-110 1" section on the sensor head is NOT to be removed. 
Add the taper to the WR10 section.

The PM5B calorimeter has a flat frequency response and is calibrated with a NIST traceable 
DC source. Cal factor setting is not required unless a 

t

aper is added for extended frequency 

use.
