Frequency Response (Flatness), Preamp On
Test Limits
The frequency response test, with preamplifier on, measures the signal
analyzer’s amplitude error as a function of the tuned frequency.
Measurements are made ranging from 50 MHz to the maximum frequency
range of the preamp. The signal source amplitude is measured with a power
meter to eliminate error due to source flatness. The measured value is
normalized to 50 MHz.
