Upgrading from the M9036A
Upgrading from the M9036A
If you already have a Keysight M9036A Embedded Controller and you are
upgrading to an M9038A, be aware of the following:

The GPIB cables are not compatible.

The video output and cables are not compatible.

The M9038A, unlike the M9036A and M9037A, does not have a Soft Front
Panel or its own IVI drivers. The PXIe chassis driver provides the IVI KtMTrig
driver to provide Trigger Manager functionality. The IVI KtMTrig driver can be
found at:
C:\ProgramFiles\IVI Foundation\IVI\Drivers\KtMTrig
or
C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\IVI Foundation\IVI\Drivers\KtMTrig
Any programs/applications that have been written utilizing the M9036A
drivers will have to be updated.
