Functionality
Signal Routing
The Tx/Rx ports are half-duplex: each one can function as a transmit port or a
receive port (although not simultaneously). In the illustration below, the green
transmit path can be routed either to
RF Tx/Rx 1
(as in the upper picture) or to
RF Tx/Rx 2
(as in the lower picture). Whichever port is not transmitting
becomes the receiver (the blue path). The choice between these alternatives is
made by means of configuration menus in the test application which is running
on the UXM.
