These modes can only be set through the RS-232 command ‘SPO xx T y’.  

(see RS232 commands detailed on page 12)

 

NOTE: The default configuration type is 1.

Type 1

 = Left & Right Analog Inputs to Left & Right Analog Outputs with Audio Control plus PCM 

Inputs to PCM Outputs in pass through (switching only). Any Audio type can be passed through 
PCM in this mode.

Type 2

 = Left & Right Analog Inputs to Left & Right Analog Outputs switching with Audio Control 

plus Composite Video Inputs to Composite Video Outputs (switching only).

Type 3

 = Left & Right Analog Inputs to Both Left & Right Analog Outputs and PCM Outputs. All 

have switching and Audio Control. 

Type 4

 = PCM Inputs to Both Left & Right Analog Outputs and PCM Outputs. Both signals will 

switch, only Analog Outputs will have Audio Control. PCM Outputs will be in pass through mode. 
Any Audio type can be passed through PCM in this mode.

Type 5

 = PCM Inputs to Both Left & Right Analog Outputs and PCM Outputs with full audio 

control.  PCM Audio will be converted to Analog and processed for control. Will not pass 
multichannel audio; Dolby Digital, DTS etc. in this mode.
