11.4 - Settings with special CODES

With the equipment off (without power) press the OK button and

keep  it  pressed,  at  this  point  turn  on  the  equipment  (activate

power), keeping the ok button pressed and after a few seconds

the equipment emits a short acoustic signal. At this point, release

the OK key, and the display will show: “0000”.

Using the P1 and P2 keys it is possible to modify the first two digits

and the second two digits of the number separately, thus setting

a  special  configuration  code,  which  must  then  be  confirmed  by

pressing the OK key for two seconds.

Depending on the special code set, the following operations will

be performed:

password 4444:

  A4 new KEY motor

password 2468:

  Start cyclic test mode

password 1234:

Enabling of special displays

password 3223:

Restart of parameters from 1 to 8 as

default according to the door weight class

password 9696:

 Restart of all parameters as

default settings. After the

restart, a learning is forced

password 8585:

NT.I emergency closure (N.C.). With this

password the Y parameters is set

at the value 3. It can then be changed from the

keypad but not shown with value 3

* After modifying the “Motion direction” parameter, the subsequent

first opening and closing operations will be carried out at reduced

speed.

The values may vary according to the weight class of the door.

11.2 - Obstacle detection

If the door encounters an obstacle during closing, it reopens

immediately, remains open for the pause time and then closes

again. Subsequent closure takes place slowing down near the point

where the obstacle was detected. If the obstacle is encountered

three consecutive times, the door remains stationary, pressing

against it.

If the door encounters an obstacle during opening, it locks and

remains stationary for the set pause time, then closes at reduced

speed. Subsequent opening takes place slowing down near the

point where the obstacle was detected.

Monitored safety devices, equipped with a stimulation input, can

be connected to the STOP, PHOTO and PHOTO RALL inputs.

An  unattended  device  or  a  monitored  device  or  a  series  of  two

monitored devices can be connected to each of the three inputs. It

is necessary to set the configuration of each individual input using

parameters L, N and O (see Modification of parameters). In the

case of the unattended device, the corresponding parameter must

be set to the value 0. In this case, no device test is performed.

In the case of a single monitored device, the corresponding

parameter must be set to 1. In this case, the device test is carried

out via the TEST 1 output, which connects to the test input of the

monitored device. In the case of two monitored devices connected

in series, the corresponding parameter must be set to the value

2.  In  this  case,  testing  of  the  first  device  is  carried  out  through

the TEST  1  output,  which  connects  to  the  test  input  of  the  first

monitored device, and the test of the second device is performed

through the TEST 2 output, which connects to the test input of the

second monitored device. The tests are carried out immediately

after the end of each door opening movement; if one of the tests

fails,  the  corresponding  error  is  displayed  (see  Errors)  and  the

door does not close. Every 30 seconds the test is repeated (in the

case  of  opening  with  the  OPEN  command,  the  test  is  repeated

upon receipt of the CLOSE command), and if it succeeds the door

closes again. During this error state, it is still possible to move

the selector to the Lock position and close the door by hand: two

seconds after closing, the electric lock will be activated.
