Drive chain with the help of the manual clamping device (9) to clamp the
necessary chain tension (see Chapter 7.7 Set chain tension on page 51).
Caution - Damage to components!
Check the chain tension after the drive chain has been pulled up after 1, 2, 5, 10
and 20 operating hours. If necessary, the chain tension must be corrected
accordingly.

Setting chain tension
Warning
Risk of injury / risk of environmental damage due to too low or too high
chain tension!
Due to too low or too high chain tension, there is a risk of injury, as well as
danger for environmental and property damage (on the machine)!
•
If the chain tension is too low, there is a risk that the rubberized drive chain will
bounce off the guide rollers!
•
If the chain tension is too high, there is a risk that the rubberized drive
chain or corresponding components of the guide and deflection rollers will
be damaged.
