(1) Press the O N / O F F P u s h s w i t c h © i n . The Power-on
i n d i c a t o r ® , a light-emitting diode, w i l l light, indicat-
ing t h a t power has been applied.
(2) Plug the signal calbes into the C H 1 I N P U T and C H 2
I N P U T connectors ® and © .
(3) C H 2 S E L E C T O R © , w i t h the s w i t c h r e l e a s e d ( J H ) ,
takes single mode in which Ranges C H 1 and C H 2 are
changed over uging A t t e n u a t o r s C H 1 / 2 © and C H 2 ® ,
respectively.' . ' •
W i t h the s w i t c h pressed (-—-), the S E L E C T O R takes
inter lock mode in which both Ranges C H 1 and C H 2
are simultane-ously changed over using A t t e n u a t o r
C H 1 / 2 ® . In the interlook mode, A t t e n u a t o r C H 2 ®
is no longer operable to select a Range.
Select either single or interlook mode according to
your p a r t i c u l a r measurement.
(4) Set the R A N G E - C H 1/2 selector © a n d the R A N G E -
C H 2 selector ® to " 3 0 0 V / T o measure an A C voltage
superimposed on a D C voltage, be sure to set the
selectors to the positions before connecting the cables
to points to be measured.
r
e r w i s e , the D C voltage
causes a high surge, which could burn voltmeter.

in which both C H 1 and C H 2 are connected to
the grounding t e r m i n a l of the casing, t a k i n g G N D
s t a t e , w i t h the s w i t c h pressed (-•».), the grounding of
C H 1 and C H 2 is floated to O P E N s t a t e in which
you move the earth point to the signal source side.
N o r m a l l y use the device in the G N D s t a t e .
(6) Connect the cables to points to be measure.
(7) T u r n the selectors ® and © f o r proper ranges until
each Meter pointer s w i t n g s over one t h i r d of the
fullscale.
(8) O U T P U T S C H 2 @ and C H 1 @ provide output
signals by a m p l i f y i n g input signals in such
a degree as the signal amplitude of a meter f u l l -
scale becomes 1 V r m s no m a t t e r which range is set.
(9) Read the Meter.
