In case of difficulty
Remote control unit
Cause
• No setup codes registered at the respective
input(s).
• The rem ote control is set to a different
operation mode.
• Batteries are exhausted.
• The remote control unit is too far aw ay from
the main system, controlling angle is too large,
or there is an obstacle betw een the receiver
and the remote.
• The audio cords and system control cords are
not connected properly.
• No t ape or CD is placed in t he source
component.
• An attempt is made to play a tape w hich is
being recorded in the cassette deck.
• The remote control has not been set to the
operation mode for the component you w ish
to control.
Remedy
• Register a setup code at the respective
input(s).
•
• Press the any of the
Input Selector keys to
select the appropriate operation mode.
• Replace w ith new batteries.
• Operate the remote control unit w ithin the
controllable range.
• Connect properly referring to “ Setting up the
system” .
• Place the tape or CD in the source component
w hich you w ant to play.
• Wait for recording to complete.
• Press any of the source keys or
SRC Pow er
key to activate the operation mode for the
com ponent you w ant t o cont rol bef ore
operation.

Certain inputs cannot be selected using the
remote control.
Remote control operation is not possible.
