The HOLD function defeats all of this unit’s buttons and helps prevent
erroneous operation when this unit is carried in a bag, etc.
Defeating all control buttons

Set the hold function for all buttons of this unit
Slide [HOLD] to the “ALL” position.
Defeating only the record button

Set the hold function for the REC button
Slide [HOLD] to the “REC” position.
Enabling all buttons

Cancel the hold function
Slide [HOLD] to the “OFF” position.

When a defeated button is pressed while either hold function is set, “Keys: ALL
HOLD” or “Keys: REC HOLD” is displayed.
