INSTALLATION:

2. Remove cover fron1 radio accessory connector.
3. Re1nove ante1u1a f

o1n 2-way radio.
4. Attach antenna to the connector on top of the speaker
microphone.
5. (KMC-40 only) Dress coax under the belt clip or carry
case belt loop (if used).
6. Connect 14 pin universal connector to radio. Snug
n1ounting thwnbscrew.
7.. Snug coax connector to radio with supplied 5/ 16" wrench.
8. Preferred wearing location of the speaker 1nicrophone is
on the shoulder with at least 4 inch distance to the mouth.
Keep transmissions as short as possible and keep the
antenna away from yourself and any nearby persons
while in use.
