In the test mode, it is possible to confirm on the controlling

firm ware version number on each of F/E (disc servo control

section) and B/E (system control and MPEG replay) systems.

 How to use the Test Mode

Turn on power supply (Use the power switch) and immedi-

ately after turning power on, use the remote controller to input

the following, without inserting a disc.
