Disc control features

D irect Track Search
Using the remote control, make direct input of the track
number that you w ant to listen to.
Using the numeric buttons on the remote control, enter the
number of the track that you w ant to listen to.
The selected track number blinks in the display for 10 seconds.
If you make no further input in the 10-second period, the
number entry mode w ill automatically be cancelled.
Press either the TRACK
+
or TRACK
–
button w hilst the track
number is blinking.
The track specified in step 1 starts playing.
Cancelling Direct Track Search During Its Operation:
Press the

button.
You cannot use the direct track search function w hilst doing track
or disc scans or using random or magazine-random play.

Each time you press the DISP button, the display during disc

Disc title/track title cannot be displayed w ith the CD mode of
the KDC-7060R.
•
You can give names to discs through the presetting disc name
function (see p.24).
Note that depending on the unit, display may not be possible.
•
If you try to display the name of a disc that does not have one,
"NO NAM E" is displayed instead.
•
Only w hen the Sw itching Clock display function (P.31) is on, the
clock is displayed.
•
When there is an attempt to display the title of a disc for w hich
the disc title/track title has not been recorded, "NO TEXT" is
displayed for CD and "NO NAM E" is displayed for M D.
•
Depending on the type of characters of the CD Text, some
characters may not be displayable.
