Playing CDs:
If no CDs are inserted, insert one in the slot w ith the label
facing up. (If a CD is already inserted, press the CD button).
The CD-IN indicator lights up w hen a CD has been inserted.
The

indicator lights up w hen a CD is being played.
Pausing and Restarting CD Play:
Press the

button to make the disc pause. The
8
indicator
lights up.
Press the same button again to start play again.
Stopping and Ejecting CDs:
Hold dow n the EJECT button for one second or more.
The CD stops playing and ejects from the slot.
•
Do not attempt to insert a CD into the slot if another one is
already there.
•
The unit can only play 12-cm (5-inch) CDs. If you insert an 8-cm
(3-inch) CD, it w ill get stuck inside and can cause the unit to
malfunction.
When you load a CD and eject it right aw ay, the next time you try
to insert the CD may not load. In such a situation, take the CD
out for a moment and then reinsert it.

Fast Forw arding and Reversing D isc Play
Fast Forw arding Disc Play:
Hold dow n on the

Release your finger to play the disc at that point.
Reversing Disc Play:
Hold dow n on the

Release your finger to play the disc at the point.
Track Search
Search forw ards or backw ards through the tracks on the disc
until you reach the one that you w ant to listen to.
M aking a Reverse Track Search:
Press the

button to display the desired track number.
Press once to search back to the beginning of the current
track, tw ice to search back to the beginning of the previous
track, and so forth.
Play starts at the beginning of the displayed track number.
M aking a Forw ard Track Search:
Press the

button to display the desired track number.
Press once to fast forw ard to the next track, tw ice to fast
forw ard to the track after that, and so forth.
Play starts at the beginning of the displayed track number.

Each time you press the DISP button, the display during CD
